India's Fight Against Corruption - No500No1000

For those who say "Modi's current move has created a lot of utter chaos": We stay calm during countless National bandhs, but not remain calm for a good cause. Isn't it??

Below are their questions and my thoughts!

1. What about the poor people? : The World Bank has similarly revised its definition and benchmarks to measure poverty since 1990, with $2 per day income on purchasing power parity basis as the definition in use from 2005 to 2013.

Approximately ~ 134Rupess

Those who have purchasing power less than 134Rs per day is considered as Poor!

So do you think these people own 500 and 1000 Rupee notes ? Or do you think these people visit banks everyday to do transactions ?

No! So how will it create chaos among poor people ?

2. What about farmers?: Do you think farmers directly go sell in markets ? If that was the case Indian farmers would be richest people. Most of the trade happens via middle man/brokers! So I don't think they are affected a lot!

3. What about people who don't have bank accounts?: Prime Minister of India encouraged each Indian citizen to open bank accounts under Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana. It is a National Mission for Financial Inclusion to ensure access to financial services, namely, Banking/ Savings & Deposit Accounts, Remittance, Credit, Insurance, Pension in an affordable manner. For those who didn't care and talked negative about this need not be cared now.

4. What about people who can't read/write?: Take help of your educated children during this time. Its been many years since the promotion of value and importance of education. If you are not educating your child to get education even after govt providing BPL facilities, mid day meals and other benefits, go your way in tackling the issue in whatever way you want!

5. What about people who don't have anyone?: Indians are kind hearted ppl. Even if they can't help you completely, they will at-least guide you with the process. This way at-least people get encouraged to use banks!

To the educated citizens of India: Kindly go cashless! I mean use and encourage the use of cashless transactions[credit/debit/InternetBanking] among your family/friends/neighbors. Its time to transform the way we live to transform India.

I agree it may be a bit difficult for next few days, but we need to remember "No pain, No gain"!
